These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the DualCapture Recorder app (“the app,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the app store’s rules.
The app is free to download and use for recording. Some features require a paid subscription (“DualCapture Pro”), including additional recording resolutions and frame rates, manual exposure/ISO/white-balance controls, color looks, Cinematic stabilization, the teleprompter, and removal of the watermark from your saved videos. Videos recorded without an active subscription include a small DualCapture logo watermark.
DualCapture Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your account settings:
Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies, not by us directly.
We may issue promotional codes that unlock Pro features at no charge. Promo codes have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be limited or discontinued at any time.
You own the videos you record. They are saved to your device’s photo library and stay on your device — we do not upload, access, or store them. You are responsible for your recordings and for complying with all laws (including consent and privacy laws) where you record.
You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost recordings or data. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Any changes will appear on this page.
